Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "Terms") set forth the conditions for use of the online shop (hereinafter "Site") operated by Sosuke Takie Design Office (hereinafter "Sosuke Takie") on this website. All registered users (hereinafter "Users") shall use the service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 — Scope and Modification

  1. These Terms apply to all users of this Site, including members (as defined in Article 3).
  2. We may modify these Terms by posting on the Site or by notifying users through email or other appropriate means, without prior consent.
  3. When these Terms are modified in whole or in part, the revised Terms shall apply to the use of this Site.

Article 2 — Use of the Site

  1. Users shall use this Site in accordance with these Terms and any additional rules set by us.
  2. We may change the content of this Site without prior consent of users.
  3. Users shall use this Site in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms. Use of this Site constitutes full understanding and acceptance of these Terms.

Article 3 — Members

A "Member" is a person who has agreed to these Terms, applied for membership registration through the prescribed procedures, and whose application has been approved by us.

Article 4 — Member Registration

  1. Applicants shall register by entering their name, gender, date of birth, email address, password, and other designated information on the registration page. Registration by proxy is not permitted.
  2. Upon approval, we will send a confirmation email. Registration is completed upon receipt of this email.
  3. We may decline registration in the following cases: (1) The applicant was previously subject to disciplinary action for violating our terms of service (2) The application contains false information (3) The applicant has a history of payment defaults or failure to receive products (4) The applicant has previously engaged in prohibited conduct as defined in Article 13 (5) Other cases where approval is deemed inappropriate
  4. Registration is limited to persons with an address in Japan.
  5. Registrants are deemed to be 18 years of age or older, or to have obtained parental consent if under 18.

Article 5 — Member Benefits

  1. Members may receive services presented through service guides, newsletters, and other communications.
  2. Some services may be limited to certain member categories. Members agree to this in advance.

Article 6 — Suspension of Services

We may suspend or discontinue all or part of our services without prior notice in the following cases, and shall not be liable for any resulting damages: (1) War, riots, natural disasters, or other emergencies (2) System maintenance (including emergency maintenance) (3) Other cases deemed operationally necessary

Article 7 — Modification or Termination of Services

  1. We may modify or terminate all or part of our services for operational reasons, with notification through prescribed methods.
  2. If prepaid service fees exist at the time of termination, we will refund the applicable amount.
  3. We shall not be liable for damages resulting from service modifications or termination, except for refund obligations.

Article 8 — Changes to Registration Information

  1. Members shall promptly update their registration information when changes occur.
  2. We shall not be liable for any damages resulting from failure to update registration information.

Article 9 — Suspension and Cancellation of Membership

We may suspend site access or cancel membership without prior notice in the following cases, and are not obligated to disclose the reasons: (1) Prior disciplinary action for terms violations (2) False registration information (3) History of payment defaults (4) Prior prohibited conduct (5) Violation of any of our terms (6) Other cases deemed inappropriate

Article 10 — Withdrawal Members

may withdraw at any time through the prescribed procedures. Membership ends upon our receipt of the withdrawal request.

Article 11 — Management of Account Credentials

  1. Members are responsible for managing their password and member number.
  2. Members shall not transfer, sell, lend, disclose, or leak their credentials to third parties without prior consent.
  3. Members shall immediately notify us if unauthorized use of their credentials is discovered or suspected.
  4. We shall not be liable for damages resulting from inadequate credential management, except where we are at fault.
  5. Members acknowledge the risks associated with transmitting credit card information and do so at their own responsibility.

Article 12 — Use of Personal Information

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

Article 13 — Prohibited Conduct

Members shall not engage in the following:
(1) Submitting false registration information
(2) Interfering with site operations
(3) Unauthorized use of credit cards
(4) Unauthorized use of user IDs and passwords
(5) Causing harm or disadvantage to other users, third parties, or us
(6) Infringing on copyrights, privacy, or other rights
(7) Acts contrary to public order or in violation of laws
(8) Using the Site for commercial purposes
(9) Sending unsolicited emails to other members
(10) Unauthorized access to other members' or service equipment
(11) Unauthorized reproduction or redistribution of our content
(12) Other acts deemed inappropriate by us

Article 14 — Copyright

  1. Users may not use any information provided through this Site outside the scope of private use as permitted by copyright law without the rights holder's permission.
  2. Users shall resolve any issues arising from violations of this article at their own responsibility and expense.

Article 15 — Intellectual Property

Rights Copyrights and other intellectual property rights of product photos and other content provided through this Site belong to us and the rightful content providers. Users may not reproduce, reprint, modify, or otherwise reuse such content without permission.

Article 16 — Product Purchases

  1. Members may purchase products through this Site.
  2. Members shall follow our prescribed methods to place orders.
  3. A sales contract is established when we send an email confirming and accepting the order after the member clicks the order confirmation button.
  4. We will arrange shipping after the contract is established. Members acknowledge that delivery may be delayed depending on region and shipping conditions.

Article 17 — Contract Cancellation

  1. We may cancel a sales contract in the following cases: (1) The member violates these Terms (2) The member's credit card company reports a credit authorization failure (3) Concerns arise about the member's ability to pay (4) The product is out of stock and cannot be readily delivered (5) Delivery is not possible due to unknown address or prolonged absence
  2. We may also cancel or take other appropriate measures in cases of fraud or inappropriate conduct.

Article 18 — Payment Methods

  1. The total payment amount includes the product price (tax included), shipping fees, and cash-on-delivery fees.
  2. Payment shall be made by credit card in the member's own name or by other payment methods approved by us.
  3. Credit card payments are subject to the terms between the member and their card company. Disputes between the member and the card company shall be resolved between those parties.

Article 19 — Returns, Exchanges, and Order Cancellation

  1. Returns are accepted only in the following cases: (1) The product is defective (2) The delivered product differs from the order (3) The product was damaged during shipping (4) None of the above apply, but the request is made within 7 days of delivery and none of the following exclusions apply: ① Hygiene products such as earrings ② Used items (excluding indoor try-on) ③ Return form has been lost ④ Tags, labels, or accessories are lost or damaged ⑤ Items damaged or soiled by the customer ⑥ Items purchased outside our online shop Products marked "no returns or exchanges" on the product page cannot be returned.
  2. Returns shall follow our prescribed procedures.
  3. Orders cannot be cancelled after shipment processing has begun, except where we are at fault.

Article 20 — Disclaimer Regarding Products

We are released from delivery obligations by shipping products to the delivery address specified at the time of purchase, and shall not be liable for issues arising from unknown addresses or similar problems.

Article 21 — Information Management

We may use information posted by members on this Site, and may delete it without notice in the following cases: (1) The information infringes on our or a third party's rights or reputation
(2) We receive a warning from a third party regarding rights infringement
(3) The information violates applicable laws
(4) A government authority orders its removal

Article 22 — Site Maintenance

We may suspend all or part of this Site without prior notice in the following cases:
(1) Scheduled or emergency system maintenance
(2) System operation becomes difficult due to fire, power outage, or third-party interference
(3) Other cases where system suspension is deemed necessary

Article 23 — General Disclaimers

  1. Our notification obligation is fulfilled by sending to the member's registered email address.
  2. We shall not be liable for any damages arising from inability to use this Site.
  3. We are released from liability by processing matters in accordance with the member's registered information.
  4. We shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or disadvantages arising from the use of this Site, regardless of the legal basis of the claim.
  5. Users who cause damage to other users or third parties through use of this Site shall resolve such matters at their own responsibility and expense.
  6. We are released from liability by verifying identity through our prescribed methods when changing passwords.
  7. Costs for computer equipment, communication equipment, telephone charges, and LAN usage necessary to use this Site are borne by the user.
  8. We shall not be liable for display issues and will not accept related inquiries.

Article 24 — Miscellaneous

  1. Communications between us and members shall be conducted primarily by email.
  2. Any unresolved issues shall be discussed and resolved in good faith between both parties.
  3. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any litigation.
  4. If we retain an attorney to recover damages caused by a member's non-payment or other violations, attorney's fees shall be borne by the member.
