花を支える道具は、これまでずっと隠されてきました。剣山も、添え木も、花の陰に沈めるもの。SOSUKEはそれを反転させます。鏡面仕上げの真鍮を器の口に載せ、隠すのではなく、見せる。茎の傾きを受けとめ、器の余白を覆う。植物の在り方を「拡張」させる、オブジェのようなプロダクトです。
Flower supports have always been hidden — kenzan, wooden braces, all meant to disappear behind the stems. SOSUKE reverses this. Mirror-finished brass rests on the vessel's opening: not to be hidden, but to be seen. Receiving the lean of the stem, covering the opening of the vessel. Not a tool to be hidden, but an "expansion" of the plant's presence — product as object, born from a dialogue with the plant.
